week 5. Italian street scene with clingfilm
week 6. oil seed rape and foliage with different brushes and sponge
You will need watercolour set, watercolour brushes including rigger and fan brush. Masking fluid, sponge, salt, rice, clingfilm, tealight candle.
In this 6 week course you will learn how to create a number of different landscapes using some unique techniques including sponge, clingfilm, wax and learn to utilise different brushes like the fan and rigger brush.
What you’ll need:
To join this 6-week course, our tutor suggests that you have the following materials.
- watercolour set
- watercolour brushes including rigger and fan brush
- a white tealight candle
- rock salt and table salt
- masking fluid
- clingfilm
- watercolour sponge
Your Tutor
Jaclyn Stuart is an artist who works in St Andrews Scotland. She graduated from Grays School of Art with a BA Hons in Fine Art in 2000. She has taught art in many establishments including lecturing in Further Education. She now runs her own teaching business in St Andrews, making and selling her artwork. She works in watercolours, acrylics, oils, and inks.
