This Pilates for Bone health class will incorporate all the principles of Pilates – Relaxation, Concentration, Alignment, Breathing, Centring, Co-ordination, Flowing Movements and Stamina. With emphasis on falls prevention, balance, proprioception and co-ordination. Also, targeting specific muscles around vulnerable bones to strengthen and stimulate bone growth using gravity, body weight and resistance.
All exercises will be safe, functional and of benefit.
The class will be suitable for Clients with Osteopenia (low bone mass), and Osteoporosis with a T score of-2.5 or less, and no fractures.

What you’ll need:
Our Pilates Instructors would advise you to wear comfortable clothing, have a mat or a towel to lie on and space to stretch out to take part in our Pilates for Bone health class.
Your Instructor
Charlotte Charlotte Cirell qualified as a Body Control Pilates teacher in 2003. She loves teaching and practising Pilates for the flexibility and strength benefits and the feel-good factor after every class. Charlotte specialises in Pilates for low back pain, pregnancy and bone health.
Joining our live classes
Our ‘live’ classes will take place via Zoom. We’d recommend using a laptop or desktop if possible to make it easier for you to take part. Upon booking your class, you will receive an email confirmation with full details of how to join and your link to the zoom class.
