In this 2 hour Watercolour Painting workshop you will explore the use of pen and wash techniques in watercolour in order to create a composition that draws the viewer in. Applying these techniques you will learn how to capture the essence of an historic street scene and its surroundings. There will also be time to review your efforts in a short critique with time also allocated to ask questions.

What you’ll need:
Our Tutors suggest that you have paper, a watercolour paint set, a fine liner pen and something to lean on (table/board/easel) to join this Watercolour Painting workshop. You can also just watch and take notes to inspire you later, the choice is yours.
Your Tutor
Mark Holden is a professional artist who has exhibited his works in galleries across Scotland. He takes on private art projects commissioned by clients across Europe. Mark works with oils, acrylics and watercolours, with a wide-ranging focus on landscapes, classic cars and skiing.
Joining our live classes
Our ‘live’ classes will take place via Zoom. We’d recommend using a laptop or desktop if possible to make it easier for you to take part. Upon booking your class, you will receive an email confirmation with full details of how to join and your link to the zoom class.
