Now you have learnt the foundations of painting and how to mix your colours, you are ready to progress and build in confidence to try new techniques. Over the course of the 6 week advanced beginners painting class, gaining more confidence in setting out our works will be a main theme in each project. Confidence to create a strong compositional balance in each project will be further discussed and crop editing illustrated. Your tutor will provide feedback to help gain confidence after your work is submitted and further follow up is offered.
The specific themes are outlined below:
Week 1: Cubism Style Abstract
Week 2: Farm in Countryside
Week 3: Minimalist Venice
Week 4: Chasing the Geese
Week 5: Birch trees in forest.
Week 6: Highland Cow
Impress your friends and family with your very own exhibition at the end the course. This 6 week advanced beginners painting class is suitable for beginners to Art enthusiasts.

Mark Holden is a professional artist who has exhibited his works in galleries across Scotland. He takes on private art projects commissioned by clients across Europe. Mark works with oils, acrylics and watercolours, with a wide-ranging focus on landscapes, classic cars and skiing.
