Duration: 1 hour

6 week course
Explore the different techniques of drawing the human figure!
In this figure drawing course we will look at all aspects of capturing the human form through drawing and mixed media. Sessions will include exercises on structure, line, tone and technique, as well as diving into Anatomy, Movement, the Face and ‘Tricky Bits’ such as hands and feet. Participants will be given the option of sketching in between classes and receiving feedback from the tutor, as well as invited to learn more about how the figure has been portrayed throughout art history. No experience of figure drawing is necessary for this course as everyone will be encouraged to work at their own level within a relaxed, supportive and friendly environment. Each week we will build on the previous weeks knowledge and tackle something new.
