Coastal Landscape Painting Workshop with Mark
In this Coastal Landscape Workshop with Mark students will learn how to capture a puffin in flight in a coastal setting. Watch the painting come to life as Mark guides you through how to build up the layers and capture the atmosphere of this ever-changing environment. Students will follow step by step instructions to create their own unique coastal scene as well as being given tips on how to add your own elements to create a truly unique piece of work.
This Course is suitable for beginners and improvers who would like to learn to paint their very own coastal scenes.
What you’ll learn:
- Understand the process of creating a coastal landscape
- Tips on how to capture a true reflection of your surroundings
- How to incorporate the use of a watercolour pen in your paintings
What you’ll need:
If you plan to paint along our tutor suggests that you have A4 watercolour paper 300gsm, Masking tape, a watercolour pen and a selection of watercolours and brushes.
You can also just watch and take notes to inspire you later, the choice is yours.
Your Tutor
Mark Holden is a professional artist who has exhibited his works in galleries across Scotland. He takes on private art projects commissioned by clients across Europe. Mark works with oils, acrylics and watercolours, with a wide-ranging focus on landscapes, classic cars and skiing.
